ولهذا تجد بعض الناس يتهاونون في متابعة المؤذن ، مع أن بعض أهل العلم قال : إنّ متابعة المؤذن واجبة، وأنّ من لم يتابعه فهو آثم. فمتابعة المؤذن سُنة مؤكدة لا ينبغي للإنسان أن يَدعها.
ولا شك أن من ترك متابعة المؤذن من غير عذر فقد فاته خير كثير.
